Best way to clean floor tiles?

We have a tiled bathroom floor (thankfully a very small bathroom!). I assume the grouting must have been white at some point because it's definitely paler towards the edges of the room but in the more high-traffic middle the grouting is seriously dirty.

What's the best way to clean it? I'm not expecting sparkly white miracles but a few shades lighter would be nice!

Vinegar. Let it set in and keep going back over it. We moved into our home and the previous people were grim. I heavily sprayed the floor with white vinegar and came back half an hour later with a tooth brush, cloth and a refilled spray bottle. Took me an hour but looked like new afterwards.

Bleach on old toothbrush. Bleach is my cleaning cure for everything.
