Has anyone ever had a professional declutterer in?

Every cupboard and space in my house is crammed full of stuff I really don't need. I have five children and so don't really have the time or inclination to get ruthless and chuck stuff out. I would love to get someone in to help me sort out my life and was wondering if anyone had ever done this and how much it costs?

I often offer this as a service for pals. Sorting other people's clutter is so much more fun than your own.
I have also 'won' lots of treasure from them Blush

I had a brilliant lady (in Surrey, if you want a recommendation!) she really really helped me think about how I keep/use stuff.
Inevitably it all slid after my daughter was born, BUT I've been able to get back on top of the spare room in one nap time (and it looked like something out of hoarders) because thing had a home (just not in them) and I used her principles!

One of the best things about her was she took all the rubbish/charity etc stuff away the day she was here so it wasn't sitting around waiting to go to wherever!

Mango, was it extremely pricey? I'd love to declutter but don't really have the 'oomph' to do it myself, and I'm in SE London/Surrey as well...

My best friend suggested I could do this after I helped her sort her house out for her 40th bday party.
I'm ruthless and incessant, she'd never worked so hard!

I bet you all have a similarly nosey helpful pal who would give you a start, though.
I do think also there is a MNetter who does this for a job, but I am trying to remember her name
