can any one help i am about to buy some curtains and i cant remember if when they give u the width say 46in that is per curtain or the pair cheers

dont forget, i think you need to double length of window to have pleats

I understand the measurement to base your calculations on is actually the length of your pole/track rather than the width of the window. Then it's between 1.5 and 2.5 times that measurement depending on what style you're going for. (Had some made to measure done recently.) I would have thought a decent department store would be able to offer more detailed advice (our John Lewis is excellet for the kind of stuff).
