Hi,
I'm in NZ and looking at Beko brand for a washing machine and separate condenser dryer, apparently it's the no.1 selling brand in UK. Google brings up this report: www.smarthouse.com.au/appliances/VZQXTLJL.aspx

Comments please on this brand.

Thank you Smile

We have a Beko washing machine which is about four years old - I really like it and you can tweak the programmes by changing the temperature and spin speed to suit what you are washing. It also shows how long is left on the programme, which is handy. Oh, and it washes everything effectively.

I recently got a Beko condenser dryer and I love it so far. Obviously I can't comment on its longevity and I'm comparing it to my very very old dryer but it's quick, quiet and dries clothes. Love it.

We used to have a Beko. It was a really cheap, budget model. Only about £180. No fancy features, fast spin or big drum. It was a basic, 5kg, 1000rpm spin with basic cycles. We only bought it because we were desperate and intended to replace it with something better within a year or so, but we were very pleasently surprised. It washed, rinse and spun way better than the Hotpoint it replaced (which was almost double the price!) and we got 6 years out of it before the motor brushes needed replacing. It was only £65 to get it repaired, but we were in a better place financial and replaced both the washer and our 25 year old hand-me-down dryer with a new Miele matching set. But I'd gladly have had the Beko repaired and stuck with it.

I've got both. They're great, lots of options. Drier dries fast, washing machine even has a 14 minute wash.

We've also got both and they're bloody brilliant.
