Mine are looking a bit tatty at the moment (the landing and down the stairs particularly). I brush them and give them a swipe of the hoover which gets rid of the dust, but can you please advise me on what washing solution and cloth is the best to bring the white sparkle back again?

I'd love to repaint but haven't got the time or cash this side of the C word!

Many thanks in advanceSmile

Mild bleach solution and warm water?

Thanks Dingbats but I have carpet on the stairs and landing, would it be dodgy to use bleach as some will inevitably trickle down?

Gentle rub with damp magic eraser block, brings it up a treat.

it will mostly be dust, with some scuffs from shoes. Sponge with a mild solution of Flash or GP cleaner and most of it will come off. You might need the magic on shoe scuffs.

You could try sugar soap. Or go crazy like me and get stuck in with the nozzle attachment on the steam cleaner. Be warned- it gets messy Grin

Sugar soap is fab Smile
