How to clean nursing chair fabric?

I've had a nursing chair and footstool (like this one www.pramcentre.co.uk/bonito-bebe-recline-glider-chair-and-stool/29717) since DS (2) was a born and the fabric on the stool has lots of marks on it from various spillages.

How do I clean it?

I tried Vanish carpet cleaner but it didn't do anything. Not sure what I should use?

I'd try plain Stardrops in warm water (don't use hot water as it fixes stains) in a bucket and dunk a clean cloth in it - an old cotton or linen tea towel or napkin is great for this kind of thing - wring it out well and then use a circular motion to clean the upholstery bit by bit. Stop and rinse and wring the cloth as you go. You don't want to get the stool wet, just slightly damp, and the detergent and some elbow grease should lift the muck out.

I cleaned a sofa I thought I was going to have throw out using this method and it was transformed. Couldn't believe I'd let it get so grubby.

Any idea where I can get Stardrop from? I'd never heard of it! Should I use the All Round Cleaner?

Stardrops is sold in supermarkets, pound shops, Home Bargains, B&M, etc - it's usually around £1 a bottle and brilliant for lots of cleaning jobs - I once scrubbed the carpet in a kitchen (rented flat - who has carpet in a kitchen?) with it and it came up like new. Yes - the Original All Round Cleaner is the one to get. There are usually instructions on the bottle and I bet their website has hints and tips too.
