Feather pillows - chance of allergy?

Dh, ds and dd all get hay fever pretty bad.
We've always had polyester/ synthetic pillows in the past but I'm thinking of splashing out on some feather pillows. But I don't want to get something that'll set off sneezing etc.

Does anyone know how likely it might be that the rest of the family are as allergic to feathers as they are pollen? Confused

I don't know but please make sure they aren't from live plucked birds. John Lewis say all theirs are from birds who are dead when plucked.

Myself and my husband can't sleep with feathered pillows. He has hayfever and I'm asthmatic. Makes us both stuffy. Maybe buy one and try it out?
