When i read the title i thought you meant you were going to be on the TV show and the film crew had arrived

2quokkasandapeartree · 01/12/2006 13:13

Ooh I waa thinking of getting somethign like that. Let me know what its like.

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:18

"Sponges are Slovenly" oh dear!.....

" A nice fresh waffle-weave cotton cloth is the tool of a true cleaning queen"

(....Anthea uses a sponge!!!! Pink for the sink.... Blue for loo!!!!! she obviously isn't a true domestic goddess!!!)

I thought you meant the film crew were coming. I could handle being on Anthea (people generally seem quite normal and looks fun), but wouldn't want to be on TV with Kim and Aggie.

2quokkasandapeartree · 01/12/2006 13:22

has Anthea done a book yet?

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:23

Sorry... for the misleading title...
Thread isn't actually very exciting

JackieNoHoHo · 01/12/2006 13:24

OP posts:
JackieNoHoHo · 01/12/2006 13:27

But she'll be back on TV soon, for the Christmas special, won't she. Anyone know when that's on?

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:30

Is it just that Amazon don't have it available til March...or is it not being released til March??

[hopeful emoticon]

OP posts:
ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:31

no...don't know when it is on...

OP posts:
JackieNoHoHo · 01/12/2006 13:32

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:38

Does it say how they usually clean kitchen cupboard doors and cooker hood of grease? Have just moved into a filthy, stinky temporary rented house. Boo hoo.

Is it bicarb and something? Usual kitchen cleaners not working as it's obv been there for years.. Eww. Was considering an ice scraper til I saw this thread.

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:42

hmm....I'll have a look......

OP posts:
ludaloo · 01/12/2006 13:46

well there is a section on cookers...

it just says hot soapy water and plenty of elbow grease....

oh...it does say biological washing powder is good at getting rid of tough grease.
Try mixing some in water?

OP posts:
SantasPersonalClown · 01/12/2006 13:49

Kim and Aggie used soda crystals and a drop of washing up liqid on the show the other day. Grease came right off and she hadn't cleaned in 10 years!!!

twelvedaysofchristmas · 01/12/2006 14:15

Thanks ladies. I think it was the bio washing powder I'd seen them use before but I shall try both.

ludaloo · 01/12/2006 14:20

good luck, poor you though...sounds grim...and your landlord needs a kick!!!!!
