I hate cleaning the shower cubicle it is a small square one, the only way to clean is to go in shut the doors (and die from cleaning fumes) so I am a bit lazy at cleaning it, it is looking rather grotty and the glass doors have a nice soap scum glazed look to them . What is the best way to clean while not killing myself with fumes

Use a sponge scourer with the green stuff on with neat white vinegar to remove the scum, OK so you will be smelling vinegar but it's harmless. You could mix a bit of watered down washing up liquid to get a bit of foam.

Alternatively take a shower and use a buffy thingy to clean it with shower gel or shampoo, then you both get clean. I mean one of them scrunchy plastic things if you have one. If it's got scum then I am afraid that elbow grease and some sort of fricton will be needed.

And have one of those squeegee things in there (ours has a suction thing on so you can stick it to the door) and get everyone to wipe down the doors/walls with it every time they use the shower - really cuts down on the soap scum build-up in the first place.
