I found something brand new to clean! (Car related)

Hello all,

I decided to give my (2nd hand) car a good clean today.

Instead of just vacuuming the carpet in the boot like I usually do, I actually lifted the carpet out. I started cleaning round the big box that holds the jack etc but then I realised I could take out the box entirely. And inside the big well that was left, I wish I'd taken a photo! All manner of dirt, coins, glittery stickers, pen lids! Oh my!

It must have belonged to the previous occupant and neither me nor the dealer nor the garage nor the valet people I have used before have EVER cleaned it!

It was immense.

Can I bring you my van?
I've got fabulous debris like that crammed in every crevice. Guaranteed to keep you happy for hours.

One of my neighbours came out and commented on how I must have the cleanest car in the street cos I'd been at it so long!

He also admired my car-cleaning kit: handheld vacuum, sturdy wipes, special windscreen cleaner, microfibre cloths!

I keep a neat and tidy house yet never clean my car. My partner has to clean and valet it for me or else it would never get done. I'm not sure why it doesn't bother me but either way my car interior is at your disposal anytime
