just built an extension with lots of glass - folding sliding doors and roof light. What is the best / easiest way to clean the windows? Any recommended steam cleaners for windows out there?

I use e cloths - one to wash and the other to wipe. No need for cleaning products.

Outside I use fairy liquid in warm water with a soft cloth and then my karcher window vac. Indoors just a microfibre cloth dampened with water and a dry one to polish water off.

Second wowfudge's post, e-cloths here too.Normal one to wash, and the glass one to dry/polish. No chemicals, just water. They are brilliant! Must confess that this is for the insides only- the window cleaner does the outsides for me...

Old fashioned chamois leather here. Rinse in warm water and wring until almost dry for a quick and smear free finish.
