bedroom curtains

can anyone advise me on this have been fretting and its my own fault !d'oh
have ordered some new curtains and pole from local sewing shop that now makes up curtains- found myself agreeing to the order and placing a deposit have now got regrets about the price - they will look nice when completed but its the cost - way over budget
what would others do ? why didnt i just say thanks but too dear !or i will get back to you!!!!arghhhhhhh

Ring them or go in and ask to cancel the order. Are they more than you can afford or just more expensive than you thought they were going to be?

You don't have to give a reason, but getting your deposit back will depend on the Ts and Cs and whether they have started work on them/ordered the fabric, etc.

its just on my mind constantly - i could kick myself
they are more than i really want to pay just means being short for a few months - cant own up to dh - he will go mad
was thinking of popping into the shop but unsure what to say i tend to pop in a bit for various bits of alterations
never mind own stupid fault sure they will be lovely or had better be !
