I have a new washing machine which has no way of keeping liquid detergent in the detergent drawer, unlike my previous machine.
The manual says 'pour the liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place it in the drum'. Ha - 'appropriate dispenser' is, of course, not supplied.
I seem to recall dosing balls being all over the place ten or fifteen years ago, when I didn't need them, but where on earth are they all now? Where can I get one? I use a cheap liquid which works fine for us but no dosing balls hanging around anywhere.
