felt pen on leather sofa(arrghh)

Just been tidying around and just spotted blue felt tip pen on my brown leather chair, Any ideas how to get it off i've tried turps and that never worked,I told my mum not to give them felt tips only crayons

not sure if this will work but have you any baby oil? I managed to get biro off with this.

butter and hairspray

I've recommended it before after using it myself (on a recommendation) but FGS please please try it somewhere where nobody will see if it ruins the leather!! I don't want to be responsible for that!!!!

I think you spray the hairspray on the rub with butter (it was a long time ago) you might need to google.. or you could see if 'dirt devil' type people have a treatment or ask at your local shoe repairer...

dab of acerone nail polish remover?

acetone of course! ps do a test on unseen area first...
