light coloured stain on beige carpet!

I have a couple of light coloured marks on my lounge carpet which I think have been caused by me spraying a stain removed on it-it's obviously got rid of the stain and made the carpet go light!

Is there anything I can do? Would having the professionally carpet steam cleaned get rid of it or are the marks there for good?

If it's had a bleaching effect then the colour has been removed and cleaning the carpet won't help reverse that. What it might do is lighten the rest of the carpet if it's dirty making the bleached areas less noticeable.

I have done exactly the same thing this weekend after my dog was sick on the carpet. I can't get rid of it no matter what I try.

I feel like crumbling some tiny bits of dried earth there to darken it up a bit!!

It is such a pain, I can't stand looking at mine!
