potty training fail - how to clean upholstery

2yo DD was too engrossed by peppa pig to say she needed the potty. She pissed and shat on an upholstered dining chair. I've scrubbed it with soap, but it still smells. Any suggestions?

Simple Solution stain/urine remover is great - you can buy it from Pets at Home but do have a good look round as they split these kinds of products between the dog and cat sections. You just sprinkle it on and it takes the smell away as it dries. You can also use it in a carpet cleaner.

Alternatively you can put bicarb on once the upholstery is dry. It neutralises odours. Not sure how long you'd need to leave it.

Yup Simple Solution pet stain remover is fab on such smells.

Scrubbing with a solution of bio laundry detergent is a cheaper alternative, and worth a go first. Only use a little bit or it'll never rinse out. You could make up a solution and use the foam. it has to be bio, you need the enzymes to break down the smelliness.
