Fluff everywhere - help!

My new(ish) fleecy-lined trackie bottoms are not only shedding bits of fluff all over the house but have also given me a washing nightmare! Since I washed them in the machine every load of washing since has been covered in bits of the stuff - driving me mad! Have tried shaking the trackies out - is there anything else I can do, if not for the trackies themselves then the washing machine? (I've checked the pump/filter and luckily it's not blocked...) Hmm

Could you stick them in a fine mesh wash bag or a pillowcase to catch the bits? I'd also try washing them fleece side out on their own and giving them a couple of extra rinses.

Could try washing inside out too!!

Thanks for the tips! Have given them a good shake out, washed them inside out, and now they're dry shaken them out again. The test will be when I wear them...fingers crossed. (If this doesn't work they'll be binned!)
