In an effort to tidy and clean house and to stop procrastinating and doing other things I thought I would commit a certain amount of time to this
So today after breakfasts and lunch boxes I decided that my minimum for today is 3 hours
I've got some errands and part time work to do too.
So far I've managed 20 minutes mostly in the kitchen
Anyone want to join in so we can cheer each other on?!
Commit to any amount of time from 15 minutes upwards and it can change each day

3hrs?!?! That's bloody loads! 30 minutes would be good for me. I have so far done about 10 minutes not including washing up.

I dusted the bedroom and wiped the windowsill/mantle with bathroom cleaner.

Id live to manage 30 minutes a day! Will attempt to hover the bedroom later. I have a 7week old baby.....

3 hours is way too much. I've done 3 hours of errands today but that includes walking time. Maybe half an hour of housework if I can get this baby off me.

Sparrowlegs248 · 15/09/2015 13:08

I've got to go out soon too, and also again later on. Aiming to Hoover between.

Thinking about it between washing up, bed making, and kitchen/dining room floor sweeping, i probably do 30 minutes already. Does that stuff count?

I think it does.

Bin85 · 15/09/2015 16:32

Sorry yes 3 hours too much even for me with no kids here!
Surprising how much you can do in half an hour if you can get a clear run at it!
However motivation is what's needed!
Done quite well today so far but can I do another chunk later or will I collapse in front of TV?

Bin85 · 15/09/2015 18:21

Glad you have some support.

Morning Bin. My to do list for today includes bedroom and bathroom window (fly shit....) de cobweb upstairs ceilings (v.high ceilings) cleaning bathroom and hovering all upstairs!

Going out to deal with animals first, Will report back later!

Jw35 · 16/09/2015 09:24

3 hours is a lot! I used to do 2 but I have an 8 month old so it gets difficult!

I definately need motivation though! I try and clean as I go as much as possible!

Bin85 · 16/09/2015 10:05

Hoping sorting papers into file, chuck or unsure counts as that's what I've been doing ( and need to do more often!)Actually filing them still to do!
My list includes all the boring laundry stuff, dishwasher, change beds, tidy bedrooms -can't wait!
Done about 45 mins so far .

I'm just back from the ponies. Eaten breakfast, fed baby, lead of washing on and going to get started properly in a bit once baby settled.
