how to stick posters etc on a painted wall

dd has a wall a bit like Judy Brown's on the Paddington Bear film, or would do if the bloody things stayed stuck to the wall. She has loads of posters, cards, photos and we are using either Blu tack or the white UHU equivalent- it is crap and stuff keeps falling off, usually in the night.

I've seen poster fixers but given the volume of stuff to be stuck this isn't an open.
Any recommendations please?

you could paper it with an easy-strip vinyl or foamed covering, and use sticky pads, in the knowledge that they will damage the surface but you can strip it off and redecorate in future.

Screw a massive sheet of cork board to the wall? You can get cute pins with different shapes and colours and it's more fun and easy to rearrange.
