Rug underlay?

We've got a lovely cotton rug in our front room. It looks great but is slipping around on our wooden floor. Dp is threatening to get rid of it and replace it with a hideous rug that doesn't slip. I'm sure I can get something to stop it moving around. Bought some really cheap rubberised netting stuff from Ikea which helps a bit but not enough. I see John Lewis do some which gets good reviews. Any other suggestions? Please save us from a domestic incident.

You can try an "underlay" from Robert Dyers. I am using one of theirs for carpets/rug combo, but they do wood/rug combos too. They have different sizes as well. Seems to be working so far. JL should be good to, but bit more ££
