I would have no choice. No one else is ever here.Although would be better to do if DS's 9 and 7 were here because they would know to call for help!
I worry myself everytime i go in the loft that i might fall carrying things out. Been up there today for outside christmas lights.

This is what scared me most about being a single mum - and I had to move back with my parents as it got to me so much.

Had one horrid experience when DS was 6m and I thought I was going to die with stomach pains and sickness one night - at least I was back at work at that point and would have been missed if I hadn't turned up by 9am!

I keep thinking of that poor single mum who died getting the presents out of the loft last christmas and nobody noticed for a couple of days -poor kids.

I always put my mobile in my pocket before I climb on ladders/fix curtains etc. I suppose I would just have to hope that I came around long enough to call for help though.
