Hi Everyone, Have a new microwave (old one went pop!) which does not have a turntable. It is a Panasonic 27 litre flatbed. I need a rectangular food splat cover. I have trawled the net but can only find circular shapes. Any ideas where I can get a rectangular microwave food cover? Thanks, John.

No idea sorry, but could you get a cheap microwave safe tub the right size and use the lid from that? Or even the tub and pierce holes, use upside down?

Why does it have to be rectangular? I presume your plates and bowls are round?

Thanks for that suggestion, good idea.

The reason that it has to be rectangular is that in an 'Inverter' microwave you get to utilise all the space, not just what fits on the turntable. The plates are in fact large rectangular, but they would still fit on a turntable with a diameter of 38cm.
However, this way you can cook or re-heat several items at once. Check out the photo.

Thanks again. Regards John.

Oops, sorry I meant a 'flatbed' microwave!
