Where do you store your potatoes?

That's it, no hidden pun intended, where do you put raw potatoes?

In my house, pretty much everything ends up in the fridge, but wondering how others organise their kitchen.

garage or a shed, stays cooler. This time of yr we tend to only buy new potatoes, though, and they probably do stay in fridge.

I don't, I only ever buy enough for one meal as I find them such a pain to store.

A couple of houses ago I had a cold dry out door cupboard by the front door and I used to buy a whole sack keep it out there.

I buy sacks of unwashed potatoes and store in shed

In a box in the cupboard under the microwave. They flat share with the onions.

About once a year we pull the box out and find potato and onion escapees who have grown mutant tentacles which they had hoped would overpower us and force us into a life of vegetable slavery.

In a potato bag, which lives in a basket in one of the cupboards. Occasionally find them sprouting but generally seems ok.

Mine live in a large cloth bag, (with an apple to keep them from sprouting) inside a plastic container intended for recycling glass, which is kept in the garage, best place I've found so far.
