Hi! Anyone any idea how much the going rate is for a private domestic cleaner per hour? Have a friend who's willing to do it and want to offer her a fair rate?
Cheers!

Thanks jampots. In Staffordshire. Where's 'round here' for you?

Ranges from £7 to £10.50.
I have used both and found usually you get what you pay for and prefer to pay more for slightly fewer hours to know it's getting done properly.
The £7 rate was for a lady who just did 'cash in hand' type cleaning, the more expensive ones were from agencies. We're in the Teesside BTW. Where my sis lives (Hexham) the going rate is £6-£7 (cash in hand).

£9 for a regular person, £10 from an agency for one-offs. The cheaper ones from agencies aren't as good. Londonrate.com have really good cleaners and they're prices according to their star rating/ how experienced they are. I've used that agency a few times now when we've moved out of a house and needed a big clean done.
