Karcher window vac - what am I doing wrong?

I must be doing something wrong or else this is the biggest load of crap I've ever bought!

So I spray the window using the spray supplied and wipe it around with the fluffy duster head thing. Then when I use the marcher it just makes an awful squeaking noise and makes weird smears.... I then have to use a cloth anyway to buff away the smears.

What am I doing wrong cos this is rubbish!

I love mine. I just wipe the windows with a wet cloth then use the karcher. I find it better to go slowly.

Go slowly, don't press it into the window. It shouldn't be squeaking.

What about the smearing? Any ideas on that?

The YouTube videos make it look so quick and easy!

No problems with smearing with mine. I love it and use it for anything possible!

It's probably smearing either because you're pressing too hard or aren't using enough cleaner for the level of dirt.

Personally I go out with a bucket of soapy water and a sponge, slap plenty of water over the window then vac. It's worked perfectly every time for me.

Oh yes, I use it for all sorts too, they're great for streak free tiles!
