Which carpet cleaner?

Can anyone recommend a good home carpet cleaner for under £100?

I don't mind buying second hand if there is a really good model to look out for.

It is just to clean our lounge, bedroom and hallway carpets once in a while and needs to be easy to store and easy to use.

Thanks

I wouldn't bother with one under £100, they don't do much in my experience.

We bought a house with cream carpets so I've bought a bissell for about £200. It is brilliant, and so much better than the few I've borrowed that were more basic models in the past. It's this one: BISSELL Deluxe™ with HeatWave Technology™ 32788.

Or you could hire a Rug Doctor?
