Rechargable vacuum cleaners

I have a boat which I used to live on and want to put on the market this summer. I need to get it really spotless, but there's no access to mains where it is.

I have seen TV adverts for cordless vacuum cleaners. Are they any better now than they were about ten years ago?

I've just bought the Bosch athlete which is cordless- it's fantastic! It's quite compact too. Had a really good suction. I bought it on the basis of the reviews on Amazon.

I think rechargeable battery technology has improved immensely over recent years. I've just bought a rechargeable and the battery is holding up extremely well - much better than I feared it might.
