cleaning sticky insoles of shoes

not sure this is the right place but here goes. .......

is there a product that will get rid of the sticky feeling from the insides of my fit flops. I've tried good old washing up liquid but hasn't really worked.

Can't you put em through the washing machine, in with a lot of towels to mask the banging around, on a low heat?
I do all my flip flop style shoes, crocs and open top trainers like this.

never tried tbh. they're Fitflops with some fabric bits, elastic bits and embellishments. worried how they would cope in a washing machine and they're my favourites!
