Hi all......

Ivor.....sorry I didn't manage to get back on yesterday...the xmas fair is here in the village...its the school xmas fair...sorry to confuse you! I have got to go into town though this afternoon...my cupboards are bare! What time were you going to be in town this afternoon? (if you get this before you go out)
I have no idea where the food market is going to be by the way...but I'd love to find out!

Hi to everyone...hope everyone is well....

I have to catch up on some FLYing at some point today...or over the weekend at least...I have been a bit slack this week!

See you all later....oh and hello to newbies xx

Hi all.

Welcome new flyer from yesterday (DB?)

HN - sorry just saw your thread. What a great solicitor! I really hope your XP tosspott doesnt come. Your kids might remember (cant remember their ages) but they'll be on your side. My estranged mother did same thing to my dad when i was a kid - we got a letter on the doormat the day we got back from a weeks holiday saying we had to go to her for a weeks holiday the next morning. It was awful - but i can tell you i remember and we were definitely on his side (i lived with him not her).

A few errands to do in town today. Up 5 x in the night so not much of anything planned.

ludalightsandlanterns · 18/11/2006 16:02

gosh....no ones been here all day!!!!!

Are you all ok? (oh...I expect you are getting ready for the meet up tonight??)

I've done my bit for the local school...made cakes and bought cards and stuff that the children have designed.....I have been shopping, my friends daughters have both got chicken pox so I dropped them off earlier than planned as they don't seem too well.

I am just sneaking on here whilst dh is out getting coal...I still have shopping to put away and then supper to make...lasagna tonight!
I'm in for the night then...nice hot bath I think!

Ivor...we'll have to meet soon!

HN...hope all is ok

Satinshoes...hope you have recovered from last night xx

see you all xx

fullmoonfiend · 18/11/2006 20:34

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/11/2006 20:34

NN.
I will be watching it too but not in bed!

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/11/2006 20:35

No cleaning here!!
Or booze!!

fullmoonfiend · 18/11/2006 20:39

Now, did I specifically mention booze???

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/11/2006 20:41

No but...
Well ive got water and a packet of salt and vinigar crisps!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 18/11/2006 20:54

Hi all. Had a so so day here. You were right tortoise XP1 did not turn up, I knew he would not, thats why my solicitor came out. We had fun thohg with all the DC. I good chat too. She is also having family problems. I did have wirte it, but deleted as I have not better say to much on here.

DS1 is getting much better today, Only 1 sleep and that was after lunch when DD went to sleep too.

I have done some FLYing today.
2 loads of washing. 1 load dried and one on the airers. All dry clothes put away too.
Kitchen cleaned. Shiny sink now DW doing its thing now.
Bathroom cleaned. tomorrow I might do the floors in the kitchen and bathroom.
Hoovered the house, though you would not think so in the lounge.

Tortoise, you star looks fab! does it flash?

I hope the meet is going well. I dont know if I am ready to do something like that. I get very worried about things like meeting others.

It takes me ages to see people that I have to see. It was weeks until I got a solicitor when I needed to get one. It was SS that told me that I had to get one and gave me a list. Lucky for me the 1 I have was the first 1 on the list. I am always thinking the worst will happen

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/11/2006 20:59

Thats good that he didn't show and sol was there to see that!
Yes the star does various sequences.Fills the whole area on that wall!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 18/11/2006 21:01

I cleaned today but I have not really done much for ages.

No booze here either. I could eat some chocolate though but I don't have any

Probably a good thing though

NN satinshoes.

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 18/11/2006 21:14

Yeah it was good in one way, I hope he does not try court until after Xmas though (if he does)
I could not believe it yesterday when my solicitor said she would come out and see me and wait with me to see if he came or not. She knows all the crap I get from him though. He keeps telling his solicitors that I don't have a solicitor though. That is why they send letters to me and not her. She said he does it so it makes me worry (which it does) He probably thinks that I wont go to my solicitor as he knows I don't like meeting people. But I know my solicitor now so I don't have any problems with talking to her

Cool with the star tortoise. It would look good on my ceiling! hehe
I looked at a fibre optic snowman, but I dont really have anywhere to put him

sahmtotwo · 18/11/2006 21:16

Will be lurking the next few weeks as the Dr has put me on bed rest for 2 weeks or so, no housework allowed

Well done on the decorations Tort. Bit to early for me.Look nice and sparkly and bright.

HN glad you had a good day and your soliciter was there to witness the no show of super prat.

Satinshoes hope things are ok and hope you have a good night tonight.

Good night all.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/11/2006 21:24

Oh dear sahm.Whys that?

HN did she stay all day then? She must be good to do that. Glad you feel you can talk to her.

IvortheEngine · 18/11/2006 21:25

luda - Dim prob! (No problem in Welsh - slang Welsh I think!) Soon after posting last night we had a storm with thunder and lightening so the PC had to be switched off PDQ! I was up at 8am (probably late for most of you but early on a Sat for me!) and out to be close to town for 9am but the footie had been called off so ds and I went to the farmers market and bought:- lots of veg for the next 2 weeks 'til the next one, £4 worth of cheese which dh says isn't enough to last 2 weeks - whoops!, a pancake as a treat for ds, a pork and leek sausage in a bun for me as brekkie, an organic chicken and apricot pie for tea, and that's all I think. We were back home for lunch after doing other calls and then back into town later for various things and a visit to the opticians. I've finally sat down now that the kids have gone to bed. I had wondered if it was going to be a big Farmers' Market but that might be in 2 week's time. Usually it is in North Parade but for the big ones it is normally up towards the library starting from near the bank on the corner I think. So.....yes, we'll have to arrange to get together luda!

IvortheEngine · 18/11/2006 21:29

Tomorrow my one big task is to sort out all the outgrown shoes and put them in a bag to take to Clarkes. I guess we will have a dozen or more pairs. More if I'm ruthless and donate those that aren't a good fit for me. Nag me if I don't post that I've done it, please all!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 18/11/2006 21:39

sahmtotwo poor you. ((((((HUGS))))) You dont have to just lurk though. We will still need kicking up our bums from time to time to get on with our FLYing Oh and some well done`s would be lovely too Yeah it was good that she was there. SS were suppose to do it once but they did not turn up along with him not turning up.

tortoise, She went on just after 12pm. Not that her DC wanted to leave.

Ivor. Its has been ages sinse I have been to a "Farmers' Market" Xp2 loved going to those markets. I like the meats and veg that you get from them. Much better than the supermarkets. I was not so keen on the butters though.
