scrambled egg pot

hi was wondering if any of you lovely ladies have any tips on how to get scrambled egg off the pot. its a pet hate and tnis time seems to be the worst.

Pot in bin. Go to shops. Buy non stick pot

Oh I hate this too. Steel/non stick seems to make no difference to me. It's the miniscule thin layer of egg which remains in the pan and the pan is still hot enough that it gets burned on.

It might help to fill the sink with cold water and as soon as you have served the egg, immediately plunge pan in? Then when you've finished eating, use a (wooden, plastic or silicon) spatula to scrape the egg residue. Drain sink and put pan for washing. This is what I do with burnt on stuff thanks to annoying induction hob which is either 650 degrees or off.

You're cooking you're egg too hot and not stirring enough.

This is why I do scrambled eggs in a plastic bowl in the microwave. Not a sticky bit in sight

I hate this!

Soak pan, scrape pan, leave pan for DH to wash up with other pots etc.
Scout pan next day as DH has managed to not see it on the side

I wish they did disposable scrambled egg pans...

I have changed from pot to my small ceramic frying pan, feels slightly better to get off sloping sides than high straight ones with more corner !

But I still have trouble. And the worst is using a brush or sponge to clean as a day or 2 later that stinks

Google says we should soak the pot in water mixed with equal amount of vinegar

I only do scrambled egg in a non stick pan now. Is a right nuisance. However we went through a phase of doing poached egg in our stainless steel pan due to dd special diet at the time. The eggs made a horrid mess which stuck fast too. I just poured in a load of bicarb and white vinegar and it did scrub off a lot easier!

Low heat, with butter, folding eggs over occasionally. No scrubbing.

I was cooking them on setting one or two Not sure how much less hot it's possible to do them on, unless I'm supposed to hold them over a candle?

Washing powder and boiling water, leave it to soak.

Stick egg in bowl, add milk, whisk and stick in microwave for 4 minutes.

People still faff on with pans?

Microwaved scrambled eggs are horrible. Non stick milk pan and knob of butter is best.

I have a small non stick wok type pan. No sticking at all and I've had it years. TK Maxx/Homesense have tons of good pans in usually.

So yes, new pan.

Put the non stick pan in the dishwasher and use Finish Quantum tablet, it cleans beautifully!

Melt butter in pan before putting eggs in. When finished scrape off excess eggy shite then fill with cold water, scrape again then wash normally.

Washing stuck on shite in hot water will cook it more and weld it to pan.

new pan - tefal! I had no idea egg could stick - scrambled egg just glides off our tefal pans!
