buying a wooden bedframe for teenagers

I need to replace my son's bed, the mattress is ok but he has a half of a bunkbed so it would be lovely to replace.

I sawJulien Bowen online and ebay but some of reviews are quite negative. I have been looking on the wayfare site. my son will go off to uni but want something reasonable.

Thanks

Don't get a wooden bed frame imo the are awful. My brother just gave me his metal one after mine fell to pieces. It's very sturdy.

We we are wooden frame fans here. Dh and I, and two eldest DSes have queen size. All from Marks and Spencer, or John Lewis, and v happy with all of them.

do yours have that middle support leg. That puts me off as I like my son to use an underbed storage draw (for all the possessions (old tat))

Just looked under all three - two haven't (just four legs, one at each corner), one does.
