how can i stop new washing machine travelling about

and vibrating like mad! I know the floor isn't level but there isn't much i can do about that!

They usually have a spinny adjuster on one of the bottom corners. Wait until it's on spin and turn the adjuster thing (technical term that) til you're happy.

All the washing machines I have had have feet that you can level. I would be surprised if yours didn't!

You need to adjust the feet so it is level and make sure you have proper load. What type of flooring is it stood on?

it's a wood floor with an attractive lino on top. i would have thought they'd adjust the feet when installing but i suppose that can only be done with a full load?

No it doesn't need to be full. Sounds like they haven't done it.
