tortoise · 15/11/2006 15:02

Awww tinshoes.
Don't worry,i haven't done much yet. I just managed to clean out a kitchen cupboard!
Just relax.

tinshoes · 15/11/2006 15:08

Tort - it is worse than that. I cant be bother to do ANYTHING.

tortoise · 15/11/2006 15:16

tinshoes I think you are allowed to feel like doing nothing!
Put your feet up and rest.

tortoise · 15/11/2006 15:16

I however have no excuse and should get my fat arse off this chair and tidy up!

tinshoes · 15/11/2006 15:21

lol. but i need a partner in crime today.

tortoise · 15/11/2006 15:56

I have managed to empty tumble dryer.(clothes put in days ago)
Another load put in and load in the WM too.
Now sitting here again!

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 16:06

I will be your partner in crime tinshoes All I have done to day is get DS2 ready for school and been to the dentist. The rest of the time I have been sat on the sofa with DS1 and sometimes DD.
Ds1 is not very well at all. He has been sleeping with his head on my lap. He is watching the TV at mo. DD is now sleeping. Just going to the dentist today has pooped me out. HNtree has gone home to check and do some bits that she needs to get done and she is picking DS2 up from school on the way back.

I dont need to worry about todays mission as I have a clean bathroom. TD and WM are ok as I clean the filter on the DT everytime I use it. and the WM filter is checked the 1st of each month. I have only ever had buttons in the fliter on the WM. I dont know where they come from as the cloths dont seem to be missing any buttons.

There is loads of chicken stew left from yesterday. (I made to much ) So I dont have to worry about dinner tonight. DS2 and HNtree want stew again anyway

What do you call your evening meal. Some call it tea, some call it dinner. I have been calling it tea in here as I have seen that the word tea is used. But I have always known it as Dinner. lol

Happy Birthday nikkie for yesterday.

I got DD`s birthday pressies today. Its her Birthday on Friday.

Welcome to newbie EllieHsMum These threads give us "Well Done" when we have done well. "Hugs" when we need them or we can give them.((((HUGS))) and a kick up the bum when needed

Hope you have have some fun in these threads and with MN

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 16:09

Well Done! tortoise. Least you moved from your computer for a few minutes! lol

I have 3 baskets of cloths to put away

They have not even made it up the stairs yet

tortoise · 15/11/2006 16:12

I put a load of clothes away yesterday.Have a big pile on the stairs to go up now!
Hope ds is ok soon. What wrong with him?
I better think about doing tea soon!

EllieHsMum · 15/11/2006 16:16

Thanks Quootiepie & Tortoise. Back from Baby Signing with Madamepeepee Peardrop. She wasn't very impressed, I had great fun!Managed to get Madame to eat nearly 2/3rds of her veg puree. Nothing demosticated I am afraid, unless eating 3 funsize Twix counts(I've convinced myself that 3 funsize is equal to 1 normal size Twix finger)
Ta Ta for now.

EllieHsMum · 15/11/2006 16:20

Thanks HazelnutHazelnutsTree

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 16:27

OMG OMG OMG. Ds2 has just walked in cover in mud!!!
He said they were aloud to play on the sports field. So they played football!! I cant see the colour of his cloths and his shoes are now just mud!!!!
I wonder whos bright idea it was to let them play on a muddy sports field?

I think DS1 might have a sort of flu tortoise. It looks like flu. Aches, he very hot though he says hes cold. His head hurts. etc GP said to keep an eye on him and to give him calpol, with lots of rest and drink. and to keep him warm.

I better go and get DS2 bathed and try and clean and dry his shoes for tomorrow.

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 16:30

HNtree, just said the theacher said that "they had fun with all the sliding around in the mud!!!!"

Yeah I bet they did, by why let them in there school cloths and shoes!! Grrrrrrr at that teacher!!

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 16:32

EllieHsMum. Just call me HN. HNtree is my mum

Can we call you EHM ?

EllieHsMum · 15/11/2006 16:57

You certainly can call me EHM HN Hope your little one is cleaned up after the mud bath Teachers, wouldn't have happened when I was a nipper at school

tinshoes · 15/11/2006 17:04

ok. hoovered living room. does that count as 1 step toward the road to flylady finishing school?

hn - hope the mud comes out

tortoise · 15/11/2006 17:07

I bet they had a great time!
Not good for the person cleaning it up!
(HN I have to point this out clothes has an e in it,otherwise its a cloth ie for cleaning.Hope you don't mind me correcting you.)

EllieHsMum · 15/11/2006 17:13

Just shined the kitchen sink after washing bottles & bowls ready for the sterilising in the microwave. Emptied washing machine & clothes hung on dryer. White wash in WM, not yet had a chance to check lint in tumble. I'd rather spend my time on MN answering threads I am shameful, I know deep down there is a fire hazzard lurking.Better get eveing meal on before Tesco grocery order arrives, as I'll have to put that away.

ludaloo · 15/11/2006 17:37

Hello everyone.....hello EHM!!!!!!

Have done zilch in the house today..

dh took my car away and bought back a courtesy car....
Went into town with my friend...banked a cheque...had a mcdonalds (don't tell dh!! )
Um...picked dd1 up from school and have just come back from another friends house...(after school cup of tea and a natter)

just put tea on and a load of washing on

Hope you all had a good day...am quickly going to do the tumbledryer fluff...I might just hoover it all away! Dh will be impressed as he is always nagging at me for letting it get so much!

ludaloo · 15/11/2006 17:50

phew...mission done

I don't feel too slack now!

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 15/11/2006 18:05

Tortoise. I always seem to miss the e from clothes . I put the spell check before posting sometimes but that still would not find I have spelled it wrong.
Note for HN Clothes has an e in it. Now type e 10 times
e e e e e e e e e e . Now how do you spell clothes? HN reply "cloths" I know clothes

Thanks tort, I will try and put the e in next time

DS2 clean now. His clothes are in the WM and his shoes are now clean. I will polish them when they are dry.

I dont have a problem with DC getting muddy.( its great fun to get muddy ) Its just when they are in the best school clothes/shoes that bugs me.

Thanks EHM You are doing well with the FLYing.

tinshoes I would say it was 1 step towards FLYlady finishing school. I dont know how many more steps there are to go though.

ludaloo Now you have a courtesy car there seems to be nothing stopping you from going out all day now drink tea lol

ludaloo · 15/11/2006 18:15

HN.....I really shouldn't be out drinking tea!!(well actually I don't drink tea...hate the stuff...but it sounds weird saying "went out for a glass of coke!!")
My friend works the rest of the week so when she has a day or two off we get together...
The other friend is a mum and dd1 was invited over...and I went for a chat and a glass of squash

Well hope you have cleaned up the mud...my dh is like that...but comes home covered in oil!

I bought some paper and card, glue and silver/gold spray today...for making my own xmas decorations!
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

tortoise · 15/11/2006 18:19

Oooh ludaloo making some decs sounds fun. I need to look for some ideas i think. Dare i let 4 children loose on glitter?

Well done HN clothes will be imprinted on your brain now! Spelling mistakes don't normally bug me but that one does!!
