Moth killer applied but I am desperate to Hoover! I

A week ago moth destroyer man came and fumegated and sprayed the house against moths.

I am not supposed to Hoover for 2 weeks but I am expecting guests tonight and I am desperate to Hoover - the floor is well skanky. What will happen if I Hoover some bits of the house - equivalent of ironing collar and cuffs of a shirt? Will the moths stay dead a bit?

If you were instructed not to hoover, I will guess it is because there is residual poison in the carpet that will kill new moths when they emerge from their eggs over the next two weeks.

I will also guess that if the new ones are not killed they will repopulate the house.

I suppose you could sweep up a bit.

You should ask the pest controller.

Maybe spot clean with a broom, dust buster or carpet sweeper to avoid sucking away the moth killer?
