DS's top looks like the 'before' version in a stain remover advert

DS came home from school today with his white polo shirt looking like the 'before' top in a stain remover advert. What's the best way to deal with these stains? I think they are pen supplemented by general grime. It's not the end of the world if it doesn't come clean but I see it more as being a challenge!

I would soak it in vanish crystal white powder for a few hours (think it's 4 hours for whites) and then wash as normal - using biological rather than non-bio if you can.

I'm like you - I relish the challenge of these things!

Soak, wash at 40 degrees, then put it in the sun, sunlight is the best stain remover ever!

Thanks. I'm putting it in to soak. I'll report back with the after version!

Vanish Gold, the rub on sort in a roll on. Amazing stuff!

So I soaked it in some Aerial stain remover that I found that I got as a free sample and then washed it at 40deg with an Aerial powder tablet.

Well that worked nicely so I thought I would show-off to the teacher and sent him to school in the now clean top this morning.

To be continued...
