Wasn't sure where else to go for help, I've got a mouse stuck to a sticky trap and don't know what to do with it!!!

I was cat-feeding for a holidaying friend once who, it turned out, had glue traps. Unbelievably cruel. I'm still quite traumatised when i remember that poor little squealing mouse Sad

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/06/2015 18:53

You are very cruel. It's not his fault he's a mouse

Lovely way to treat an animal.

Sleepybeanbump · 12/06/2015 18:56

Get a fucking humane trap Confused

Pestolavista · 12/06/2015 18:57

Cooking oil will free it- pour over the glue - if it is still alive

Sleepybeanbump · 12/06/2015 18:58

And as for not realising a glue trap wouldn't kill it- why do you want to kill it anyway?! Just google humane trap next time. They're like little tunnels that snap shut when the mouse goes in. Then you release it somewhere.

CoogerAndDark · 12/06/2015 18:59

What did you think would happen? It would be smothered quickly in a wave of glue?

Northernlurker · 12/06/2015 19:00

So two hours after the OP posted do we think she's mustered the gumption to deal with it or is the poor thing still suffering? Hmm

Sleepybeanbump · 12/06/2015 19:02

I'm hoping she's tried the suggestions for freeing it.

kimmyw · 12/06/2015 19:39

I'm wondering whether we scared her off or whether it was a hoax

CoogerAndDark · 12/06/2015 19:44

In Good Housekeeping topic?

Possibly. But if it raises awareness that glue traps are cruel then that's good.
