I got two lovely all chrome pendant lights over my island- they are easy to reach to clean but how on earth I manage a streak free clean?

Baby oil

A cleaning company came to quote once and told me baby oil was a fire hazard so I'm a bit wary about using it on lights....

Microfibre cloth?

in a kitchen the problem will be sticky or hardened greasy film with dust and fluff stuck to it. Neat washing up liquid of Flash will take it off if fresh. Unless they have a brushed finish, don't use a scourer or cream cleaner or it will go dull.

You only use half a drop of baby oil on a rag, and polish it off, so I don't think there will be a fire hazard on the lamps (but the oily rag will be flammable)

I've just passed on easy and economical way to clean chrome to little brother (Bike), Scrumple up a piece of tinfoil (aluminium foil) moistened in water, and rub gently. Removes rust too.
