MIELE HEPA 13 filter

Miele - is a HEPA 13 a proper HEPA filter? Does anyone actually now? I know HEPA filters prevent 9.997% particles of 0.3microns in size from escaping into the atmosphere but does Miele's HEPA 13 also do this? It doesn't say anywhere on the website.

Yes. It can only be called a HEPA filter if it reaches HEPA standards.
The "13" relates to that particular design of filter by Miele, not the standard at which it actually filters
