Hi all,

While searching for closet solutions on Pinterest I stumbled over a link with tons of brilliant ideas to keep your place tidy without breaking the bank. Some of them are so freaking obvious and easy I can't believe I never had those ideas myself...
Anyways, first my personal tip for a pretty home, then the link.

When you love to travel, keep pretty business cards, postcards, tickets etc. Once home, arrange them in a frame. We've got a large frame like this in the living room and whenever we travel somewhere we add some postcards or tickets to it afterwards and whenever we pass by and look at it, we remember the great time we had at those places.

Now the link to some genius ideas: www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/how-to-de-clutter-your-entire-life?sub=2335183_1790786#.ci6NLOj81

Some of those tips are amazing. I'm going to be doing those.

Also love the "collage" travel pic idea - I used to travel in my youth but you wouldn't know it from looking at my house! I must do something about that.

The nicest thing I've done in my house is have an area I use for a "display" - it's just the top of the chest of drawers in the lounge but I set up a little display that's meaningful and change it regularly. So around our anniversary, I got out our wedding candle and my tiara, then got some flowers that matched the colour scheme, and displayed the anniversary cards we were given. Looked really nice. By changing the display regularly it keeps things fresh.

Are you on Pinterest? I find loads of lovely ideas there. I enjoy various crafts (though I'm a bit rubbish!) so I like to make things to brighten up my home - I prefer things that have meaning to me really.
