Has anyone any tips on how to remove finger marks/smears from my stainless/brushed steel oven, cupboard and drawer handles and chimney extractor hood in my new kitchen? Any advice appreciated!

Use baby oil. Put on with a clean lint free cloth & wipe off excess with another piece of kitchen roll. A cleaner gave me this tip ages ago & it works a treat.

Does this work for grease marks?
I have a stainless steel splashback and it's hideous.

You can buy specialist stainless steel cleaner. You need to make sure you go with the grain too.

Yes, I've found it works on almost anything. I've never had to buy specialist cleaners, it works on my stainless steel splash back behind my hob, finger prints on brushed steel, my steel extractor hood; even shiny metal microwaves/ kettles etc. I found out about it when I was in a hotel lift & the cleaner came in & started cleaning the stainless steel doors with it & they looked like new after all those marks & fingerprints were gone in seconds. I was flabbergasted & she explained it's a little known trick! Wish I knew more like these!

Yes we are a cleaning service and we issue baby oil as an essential part of our teams' kits for this very job.
