Cleaning the washing machine drawer bit

I've just pulled the washing machine drawer out to clean it (its been a while), and found a lot of black gunk (mould?). I've cleaned the drawer itself off with bleach no problem, but can't work out how to clean the space it came out of. For want of a better description I'll say its the ceiling of the drawer cavity that's the problem, its grooved and very difficult to get to, and minging Blush. I have a bad feeling there's an hour with a toothbrush and bleach in my future, but would love it if anyone has a better idea!?

Thanks!

I steam cleaned mine once. That was pretty effective. If mucky.

But yeah, scrubbing with bleach is the answer. Even after I'd steam cleaned I felt the need to bleach!

Yup. Toothbrush and bleach. If you can leave the drawer out over night regularly or something so it can dry out.

I use bleach spray and an old toothbrush
