OP posts:
Jelley · 10/11/2006 12:26

It's amazing just how many things can annoy Cod. I'm thinking there is an exmner with ff initials, but can't remember.

Friday is my day off Toddler group in am, school this pm. Just back for lunch.

I will do the mission as it's an easy one though.

Tortiose April. I hope you can at least get a decent agreement sorted for Christmas.

tortoise · 10/11/2006 12:30

Jelley So do i! I don't see why he should get the bulk of Christmas day when he had it last year. He is ok with me having Christmas eve until 11am Christmas day but that gets him out of the extra presents he would have to get from FC! For birthday DS2 got a Cars duvet set and a biker mice voice changer helmet! That's all!!
Either I'm OTT with presents or that is just stingy!
Off to put duvet on bed. Its too cold to find energy to do anything!

IvortheEngine · 10/11/2006 12:30

Sorry that you have to wait so long for the decision Tortoise. Thanks for the update, I hadn't read yesterday's thread as I was working and took the dog out for a long walk in the evening to make it up to her for me having been out and about a lot this week.

I don't often do the daily chore thingy but I think I will do today as a) It's really easy and b) I thought it was looking a bit crumb filled first thing before I knew that it was today's task.

QuootieHamsterInMyPie · 10/11/2006 12:40

quick pop in - just about to decorate living room. Hope your all well xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

tortoise · 10/11/2006 12:42

Wow Q. Before and after pics please! Ive not seen bathroom ones yet either.

Flamesparrow · 10/11/2006 12:52

Hiya.

Gonna do more in my kitchen in a bit.

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 10/11/2006 13:54

Hi again all. I did the kitchen draws and then tidy up the toys and hoovered the lounge. I then came back on here and i was reading a thread and fell asleep.

ludaloo thanks for the Hugs, I am going to rest now.

Ivor. Good to see you, I wonder where you were. Its good to be home but I wish I was feeling better than I am. Mum tree is living here at the mo and is doing all the work. I don't know what I would do without her help.

Tortoise.. I will be taking thing easy this afternoon. Thats if I don't go to sleep again. I have the GPs at 3pm.
I got my duvet from Tesco it was £17:99 I think. Very warm and snug and I never want to come from under it when its time to get up. XP1 did not get DS2 very much for his birthday. What he got cant be much more the £15 !!!! My Dc have a big pressie and then lots of little ones. Did xp1 give him a party or anything like that? What does he do for DS1?

It is very cold today, I will join you in a hot chocolate I think, make a change from coffee too. I wonder if I have any choc sprinkles to go on top? I already have the heating on, the fire will be going soon too if I dont warm up soon.

I hope ther rest of you are keeping warm. There is lots of flu bugs going a round at the mo.

Q I hope we get before and after pics

I love these FLYing threads. Keeps me going and its good to know that I am not the only one who finds flying hard to do. My home is looking better for it and I feel better for doing it.

I still DO NOT WEAR SHOES! though

tortoise · 10/11/2006 13:58

HN No he didnt do a party.I did. Also did ds1 party on his birthday! I don't remember what ds1 got from xp1.
No heating on here and its very chilly! I have to get the ds's from school soon.

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 10/11/2006 14:29

But you did Ds1 Party 2 weeks after his birthday. Would have thought dad could have done a little one. Did he give you anything to help with the cost of the party? I know you done loads for it.

Mum tree just phoned. She has got a taxi for me to go to the doctors. It will be here soon. All paid for! She said it was to cold for me to walk!

Hope your walk to get DSs is ok tortoise.Once you get back then you can warm up with the heating on. I bet it was cold walking DDs to see their dad.

tinshoes · 10/11/2006 14:37

a neighbour came around with her grandson and asked dd over to play so i'm on my own

i'm pleased with myself as i've been looking for baby annabell outfits all over the place and they are so expensive! i just go out a tiny baby outfit from when dd was born and put that on the doll to surprise her when she gets home so, hopefully she'll be happy and i've saved 20 quid.

no housework today as i'm still pretty tired, but i did do today's mission.

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 10/11/2006 16:17

tinshoes... I hope you have your feet up and have a good rest or even a sleep Hope you feel better soon. ((((Hugs))))

I went to the doctors and she said I should be feeling much better then I am. She has gave me some different Anti/Bs to take.

I hope everyone are having a good afternoon. Mum tree and DC should be here soon. They were going to the park after school.

sahmtotwo · 10/11/2006 16:19

Hi fly babies,

See Cod is being her usual self. Why doesn't she sort her spelling out rather than having a go at people on threads that she is not interested in. I can't decipher what she has posted sometimes (if she has a problem like dyslexia then I apologise.)

I've not done anything but sit on my ass and get DS1 from school today. Didn't sleep well as I have just had my 3rd early m/c in 5 months and am feeling totally shit.

Hope the Dr's appointment went well HN.

Hugs to everyone else.

ludaloo · 10/11/2006 16:20

Just a quick post to say hi and bye..dh has come home early so poker starts soon....

Hn {smile] you have a very thoughtful tree!

Hope everyone has a good night..
Keep warm and hope everyone feels better in the morning.

Hi.
Sorry to hear that sahmtotwo.(((hugs)))
Must be a horrible thing to go through.

HN Hope new tablets work better.
I didn't find it too cold out.Once i got walking it was fine.DD's didn't go to xp2 today.Supervising sw on hols and no replacement found!
DC all fed and now playing!

damewashalot · 10/11/2006 18:44

I'm back! did anyone notice I was gone?
So what's going on then????? mutterings about cod complaining or something???
How are you all?
Tort what's the latest? I do keep wondering about you even to I don't get on much.
I really do want to try to start flying again, maybe after the weekend, everytime I have a peek at how you are all doing I don't recognise the names, good to see a few I know today

IvortheEngine · 10/11/2006 19:15

Just a quickie.

sahmtotwo I'm very sorry to hear your news. I don't know what to say. (((hugs to you)))

Hazelnut Sorry to hear that you've some way to go before you're back to normal health wise again. I hope you start to get stronger on the new AntiBs. I don't come on MN much during the week. I did one night this week and it was a mistake as I spent about an hour on various threads. I prefer to flit about a bit and I've learnt a lesson (I hope) not to go on threads where people will be falling out a bit.

Ruby Hi, how're you? My bit of clutter clearing for this weekend is going to be summer clothes which are still hanging around and the outgrown shoes that the kids don't need any more.

tinshoes I don't think I'd realised you were pg. Congratulations! If you want a nice Welsh name for your baby, ask away!

damewashalot I've received your e-mail and will reply at the weekend but it's no problem, honestly. It was nice to get to know you and we'll see each other on here as you said.

damewashalot · 10/11/2006 19:53

Sorry sahmtotwo didn't mean to ignore, had only scan read and missed your sad news, really sorry

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 10/11/2006 20:22

sahmtotwo.... (((((Hugs))))) I have m/c once (12 weeks in) it not a nice thing to go through at all

ludaloo... Yes my Mum tree is great. She thinks of everything

tinshoes... Glad you had a bit of sleep. I have had 2 sleeps today. Its nice when Dc have a good time with others. My DC had a fun time at the park this afternoon with my mum.
You could be having a Christmas day baby then. about a month and a bit over due Take things much more easy now.

Tortoise... Good that is was not too cold for you. Mum gave DC a bath when I was asleep. Things much be hard on DDs too with all thats going on.
DS1 asked about xp1 tonight as he was going to bed, wanted to know if he was see him tomorrow. Hes not said anything for weeks until tonight. I said I did not think he would as I did not know what his dad was doing. He said to that " down the pub" I don't know how he knows that? DS2 said " Im not going to daddys. I play with DD"

Ivor..... I hope the new Anti/Bs will help me get better faster. It seems like I have been ill for weeks now. I did wonder if I was going to get better or if it was something else that was going to go wrong with my life. Hope the GP was right and these new tablets really do work wonders.

Mum said to say Hi to everyone for her. She said she does what she thinks a mum should do for their children and grandchildren when they need a bit of help. She said it was fun to be able to do things for us and she loves looking after the DGC.

Hope everyone are ok tonight and resting. (((((Hugs))))) to everyone for being so great

asleep · 10/11/2006 20:24

sahmtotwo, sorry to hear of your m/c {{hug}}

tinshoes · 10/11/2006 21:08

nice quiet evening for me. had a bath with dd and have just watched some tv.

i stick to non-confrontational threads. only ever post on good housekeeping, my antenatal board and occasionally recipes...

have a nice night all

OP posts:
tortoise · 10/11/2006 21:24

Ah DC all in bed now! I have a hot bath running and have made myself a hot choclate.
