What the best product to use clean the top of your kitchen cupboards.

I use wet wipes, work a treat for all that greasy dust.

Flash.

Then put newspaper on the top so you never have to do it again - just change the paper Smile

if the oily mist has oxidised and gone gummy or hard, neat flash, scrubbed in, will soften it, or you could try white spirit.

Because kitchen cabinets are usually made of coated chipboard or MDF, which is damaged by damp, try not to let moisture seep into the joints.

Agree about covering the tops with newspaper or wallpaper which you can chuck out next time. You can also use cling-film.

I will try wet wipes next time.

Stardrops Power Cleaner with Ammonia, from Home Bargains, fantastic cleaner but make sure you wear rubber gloves.

Why? who looks up there?

If I ever have a new kitchen I'm going to get cupboards right up to the ceiling. That will be one less thing to not clean.

White (distilled) vinegar. Cuts through the grime!

And Tiger - I'm with you on the need for cupboards to the ceiling!
