I didn't realise you could burn a crockpot insert, so I put it on overnight , only a quarter full with stewing steak and a lovely m and s marinade and it burnt. I have a couple of bits of steak welded to the side and they will not come off. With burnt pans I put biological washing powder in and boil and it usually does the trick but I don't know if I can do this with the stoneware insert of the crockpot. I've emailed the website and no answer.....can anyone help ? Or is it bin it and buy a new one ? Thanks.
