My cordless dyson won't stay in its docking station.

I've got a cordless dyson DC59 and it's forever throwing itself out of the docking station. I've called Dyson and they sent me a new docking station but I'm still having the same problem. It's on a kitchen wall as I don't have a socket in a cupboard.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Are you putting it in correctly? They slide in at an angle then click towards the wall so they hand straight down.

If you are doing this I honestly don't see how it can "throw itself out"!

I'm embarrassed to admit it but I think I had the docking station upside down ! [Blush]

Can I jump on this post please , I'm considering a cordless Hoover as I struggle to lift mine , do you rate your ? What model is it ? X

Mine is a dyson DC59 and the only minor niggles I have are that the air filter comes out too easily and that you have to hold the button continuously to run it. But it's powerful enough to pick up the debris from my 2 young boys plus dog hair and it us very light.

In light of my previous post though, I may have the air filter wrong somehow!!

Mine has been useless. Stop working after 1 minute of using it. I rate their vacuum cleaners a lot but will never buy a Dyson cordless again.

DialM it sounds like yours is faulty. Won't they swap it for another one? Mine lasts 20mins ish on standard or about 8mins on max.
