Recommend me an iron please

I have been making do with a £5 Argos value iron for about 2 years now and it's driving me mad... Does anyone have recommendations of a good steam iron with a long cord that doesn't pour out water and easy to set on the right temperature? Budget is around £30-£40

Philips make the best irons, I've found.
My Mum's Philips iron is 18 years old and it's better than my steam generator iron. I can't wait for mine to break so I can replace it with a Philips
