DH made popcorn with DD yesterday. With the oil and kernels etc It was great fun and a bit of an experiment for her. All good (and yummy)... However now there is a black substance stuck to the bottom of my (favourite) saucepan and absolutely nothing is shifting it. I've googled and tried all the home remedies and bought just about every cleaner from Morrinsons. I'm thinking I will have to chuck my saucepan 
Anyone experienced this before? Just to note, it's not like a burnt in food. It's smooth and flat and jet black. It doesn't even look like a scorch or a burn. It looks welded on. Any thoughts?
