Oxidisation (?) marks on stainless steel sink

Have just done something really silly. I normally put bleach in the sink, fill it up with water and leave it to stand. This afternoon I grabbed domestos limescale stuff for toilets by mistake. Now I've emptied the sink there is a mark all the way round where the bubbles were. DH says it's oxidation/oxidisation (not sure which). It does say on the bottle that it may harm metals.

Anyone know if there's anything I can do to disguise/remove the marks? Sink is less than one year old!

Oh you are stuck with it. I made the same error when I chucked Domestos Limescale toilet cleaner down my bathroom sink instead of Mr Muscle. Its rusted the chrome plug hole surround totally. Sad

you can try a green nylon pan scourer. Only rub to and fro in the direction of brushing, never in circles.
