Dishwasher Installation

Has anyone had a dishwasher installed and can you remember how much it cost?

It would be next to the sink, but a new installation, so it would need plumbing in.

We need a new one & the local I dependant electrical shop can do it for £65, which includes wiring it into the wall. I think John Lewis & Currys etc are at least £20 dearer.

We did it our selves. Our dishwasher is next to the washing machine, so plumbing was already there. We used a self-cutting drain kit from homebase to add another drain extension to the existing undersink drain, then bought a Y splitter to put on the washer inlet pipe, so the dishwasher and washer share the same cold feed. Worked really well, all tight with no leaks and minimal effot
