How do I clean engineered wood flooring?

I had oak engineered wooden flooring laid a few months ago and love it, but can't seem to keep it looking clean.

I heard you can't use a steam mop on engineered wood, so bought the bona spray mop from lakeland but I don't feel it's doing a good job. It seems to, but when I look an hour later the floor looks smeary or if someone walks across it you can see footprints.

How do I get it clean and polished looking?

Thanks

I have the same floor and used the bona spray thing until it stopped working after about a year. I have just bought a vileda hot spray mop as I too was not confident about using a steam cleaner. I used the bona floor cleaner in it for the wood floors and a floor cleaner for tiles. I think its great - not a steam cleaner but feel the hot water cleans well and no cord which is great.
